i having trouble, i downloadeda game from a site and it came up as a php file
the icon is a paper with the windows logo on it. i clicked on it and it asked me what to open the file with. what do i open it with?

i use windows 98
i used netpumper to downolad the game to my comp

how big is the file? if its large enough to be an install file change the extension to .exe and see if it runs.

then try .zip, .rar, .ico (and burn to a CD), etc. etc. etc.

it sounds like you 'right clicked and saved as' when the link was actually a php re-direct for them to track how many downloads a specific game has.

chances are if you clicked that link instead of saved as, you would then get to the download you wanted.
