ctrl-alt-del

hi
can i disable the use of ctrl-alt-del in windows2000 Nt/professional?

how? ive tried the registry settings but it won't work.. and also using vb6 but only in win98 is effective..

i don't now, but i'm just curious .. are you disabling it for a program you are writting? or is it just for your own computer?

windows wouldn't be windows w/o ctrl+alt+del

hi

..if i could disable ctrl alt del in either way it would be better.. im using this on my own computer bec. im making a program from vb6 that locks that end task manager of windows.
..Is there some kind of control or method i could do this like putting # on ctrl alt del of LINUX?

Since your using VB6, go to this forum:

Somewhere on there is code on how to accomplish this, so try searching for it. If you don't come up with anything post a message there and someone there will know the answer or where to find it.

hi

im also a member there but the post there was for disabling ctrl-alt-del in Win98 or Win95... what i need was for win2000 but they gave jcan14 no response there.. ermm.. I think it was impossible

Here is a link for disabling in Windows XP, you might be able to do something similar in Windows 2000
