I learned a lesson about PDCs

Don't give them the name "localhost". The clients don't like it.

I'm not sure how it happened, but my Samba server got the hostname "localhost" - must have happened when I was messing around with DNS. Oddly enough my clients got confused when I tried to browse to "localhost".

Yeah, having every system map to 127.0.0.1 isn't the best way to resolve addresses. Probably fun to watch in a network monitor though.

I am sure it caused all sorts of mayhem, thanks for the advice.
