arstacey is on a distinguished road
terminal server

I have a Magtek USB Credit Card reader with Keyboard Emulation. It works fine when I plug it directly into my computer and use it with local software (notepad, POS, Excel, etc). If I try to use it over Terminal Services however, the characters do not record correctly. Below is an example:

My computer

%Bcreditcardnumber^LASTNAME/FIRSTNAME

Terminal Server

5bcreditcardnumber^lastname/firstname

it seems to me that when I swipe with software I am connected to through TS, it is not processng a Shift key that is needed for the characters to be correct. Anyone have any idea how I can get it to do this?
