Terminal Server Help

I'm new to these forums but a guy at another board referred me here for my Term Serv problem.

=======
This is a SBS 2003 network and I would like to add a Win 2003 Standard server with TS for remote access. I have installed Win03 and added roles for TS and App Server. If I out the computer name of the TS in the Remote Desktop Connection I can log in to the server, not as a user but actually log onto the server desktop. If I input the public IP of the TS I can not connect.

NOTES:
TS has 2 NIC but I am currently only using one, do I need the other?

The DSL router is set to forward all traffic from the public IP to 192.168.0.5

In ISA on the SBS box I have created a Protocol Definition that allows for
inbound traffic on 3389, by default outbound traffic on 3389 was already
allowed.

Also in ISA I created a server publishing rule taking the inbound 3389
traffic and "forwarding" it from 192.168.0.5 to 192.168.254.5

TS (LAN 192.168.254.5)

By "computer name", do you mean the Windows Network computer name, or it's DNS name?

Further, can you "touch" the computer (get any network service) from the outside world via IP? If not, it's a network problem, as opposed to a configuration problem with TS. If you can, have you tried using VNC instead of Terminal Services?

By computer name I was referring to the server name, Windows Network name. I can also connect if I use the internal IP of the server 192.168.254.5.

Can I touch the server . . . well I'm not sure. I can browse the web through the DSL router. I can ping the server from an internal workstation. I can also log into the server desktop via the Remote Web Workplace utility within Small Business Server.

Tried VNS very briefly, couldn't connect with it either. I believe I opened ports 5800 & 5900 IIRC.

You don't happen to have any software firewalls enabled, do you? I haven't used 2003, but I assume it has a firewall on it by default.

No firewalls on the TS itself but it does connect to the web through our Small Business Server which runs ISA.

Hmmmm . . . you've got me stumped. You might want to throw up Ethereal on the SBS box and see if you can spot if the traffic is actually being rerouted from 192.168.0.5 to 192.1268.254.5
