direct x9 problem

i installed Direct X9 which was a bad idea, becase now 2 of my games dont work, graphical glitchs. is there a way to downgrade to 8.1?

Oh my.

NO.
A question asked by many. And all of them received the same answer.

I needed to reformat my Win32 (XP) partition to get rid of it, but I did it will all pleasure because DX9 doesn't even come close to satisfactory for me.

Haven`t had any problems with mine...However...it sure doesn`t like win98SE. I was running that for a while..now I`m using Xp Corp. Pro.
Everything is up to par and working fine now.
