One loads and one unloads? I think... Man it's been a long time, but I am pretty sure that the TRUE and FALSE represents serialization in both directions from a dialog. So if you are invoking UpdateData(TRUE) you may be updating data INTO the dialog whereas UpdateData(FALSE) may be updating your local data FROM the dialog.

I may have that backwards and I may be completely wrong as well. In a nut shell, you are no further in your definitive MFC knowledge now than you were before reading this message...

If the argument is FALSE, the values in the variables are passed to the controls on the window. If the argument is TRUE, or left out, the variables are updated with whatever appears in the controls on the window.

Figures, I did have it backwards. They couldn't do something more sensible like:

- PutDialogData() - and - GetDialogData()

now could they? Silly Microsoft, always out to confuse me.
