Can anyone please tell me why "c" does not support nested functions?

nested functions means fuctions having defination of another function.
e.g.

PrintFirst()
{
printf("ABC");
PrintLast()
{
printf("XYZ");
}
}

mostly because anything that can be done with nested functions can be done with file-scoped functions, and the advantages gained by supporting these are minimal.

what are you trying to do that requires nested functions?
