Lez explore a bit.

Bit quiet here.
Lez discuss something:
Do you like using pointers to functions/methods?
Why?
When if you do.

Discuss .

if you write anything sufficiently complicated in c (not c++), you're bound to start using them. i do it all the time now. most systems that have have an interface you need to implement (ex: device drivers), will usually take a struct of function pointers.
in c++, you're implicitly using function pointers all the time if you use virtual functions.

Function pointers are used often in Win32 programming.

I don't mind using pointers to functions, and I can deal with them if need be (linux signal handlers). However, I find pointers to methods to be a little confusing/cumbersome at times. I know I used them for a MUD project for cs290.

Oh, those were good times...
