i need some directions on how to create php pages

hi guyz...am a newbie...and am tryin to build a website for airfares......my problem...is ....am using coldfusion and dreamweaver.....can some tell me how should i create php pages using dreamweaver.....when am creatin and savin the page as .php...i can till see that the page has html coding....it does not have php coding.....my question is...do i have to configure anything in coldfusion or dreamweaver to get the php codes.........plz someone help me guyz...thanx

Are you using php tags ? ie:

or is there anything else i should add in the middle in the place if the html attributes.......
