Where to get information on game programing online for linux.

I have been reading my C++ for dummies book for several months now, and have read around 150 pages, and been writing notes on just about every little thing. I feel confident that I could start writing games. I bought a game programming book, but it was for windows (it included events that I don't use). I got a game programming book online for linux, but it was outdated and it was for the C language. I am currently searching the web for documents relating to game programming for linux, but I am at a loss for I cannot find any. Does any have any information on at least making graphical windows in linux, and bliting images? Or maybe even links to game programming in linux? Thanx in advance!
