Internet related aplications?

Hello,
I'm Interested in learning basic coding skills, and found your site searching for tutorials. After reading a few threads I decided to ask for some advice.
Basicly I've writen one really simple code using the wrox tutorial. Of course I modified it a little, It's here if anyone would like to take a look... http://members.lycos.co.uk/chrisp96/beeralator_c.txt But that was some time ago, And I would like to code somthing that can do more than math. All the tutorials I read seem to start like this... "I assume you have basic coding skills" I think Iwould like to do somthing internet related that would teach me how to use existing windows components, and was really hoping someone here could recommend a good tutorial or starting point.
Thanx in advance.

Best thing is to learn an api. Api's usually come with (inter)networking facilities as well. However, learning api's usually demand at least intermediate C/C++ skills. You aren't there yet I think. I suggest learning the language correctly, and downloading wxDevcpp 6.7 (link below). It comes with a wx designer gui. From there move on.

Thanx for the reply's,
Valmont, Your perception of my ability is completly accurate, However if you could point out some errors in my code (other than the improper use of float, because I'm allready aware of that one ) that I may be able to use to better my coding skills, That would be great. I'll be downloading wxDevcpp 6.7 and trying it. Thanx for the advice.

Gillette,
Thanx man you made my night.
