Simple 2d game

i want to build a simple 2d game can i use c++ builder for it or should i seek for another programm, i know the basics of c++ (the very basics)

and i have an other question how do i build key movement in c++ builder..
for example a label that moves when i press one of the arrow keys

You might want to get more comfortable with the basics, befor you venture into the gaming aspect of programming.
Else look at what the conio.h provides of nice features, that might tell you something about controling the console.
