i went a long time testing different editors.. ultra edit was the one i settled on. it's great, i bought it, i love it.

When you say graphical are you talking wysiwyg or like NOT pico/vi. terminal type programs???

i love ultraedit too, I use it in windows. Unfortunatly I do 99% of my coding in linux. I want something that does the same stuff as ultraedit.
specifically having multiple files open at ones with tabs at the tob to browse through them
right now I am using gvim with php colour syntaxing and linenumbers on for debugging.
