Word Launcher Login Page

Hiya Folks,

Is there anyway of create a login page that only requires the user to enter their username.

Instead of having a text box in this case, to allow the user to enter their username, is it possible the user can just enter their username directly on the page, using the same principles as the page found at the following URL:

The JavaScript Source: Navigation: Word Launcher - Time the word "javascript" directly onto the page

Why, you say that?
I'm not spamming, I'm simply asking a question.

Because you posted the exact same question in another forum here (a post which I have since deleted).

Salchester, are you getting paid to implement the solutions to the questions you ask here? I get the impression you have no clue what you're doing, but have a job where it requires you to implement various bits of web code. It seems you are basically using the various communities you post to as a crutch to get by rather than actually expending the effort to learn how to do these things yourself.

Is Salchester question possible?
If so, how do I go about creating the same sort of thing?

The mentioned page throws loads of errors in my faces so it doesn't work on my incredible Firefox.

However: yes it's doable. Just use onkeydown to trap keystrokes.

the attempted forum manipulation is not appreciated.

think it's coincidence that salch and acer are from the same region and have nearly identical email prefixes with identical domains?

i suspect they are one person, or 2 people working for the same incompetent dev shop.

salch has never demonstrated any desire to understand the heaps of help people have given him and he's never posted solutions that he may have come across on his own.

salch, no one wants to help you because you don't show that you want to be helped. you just want solutions to your answers with minimal effort. this drives the quality of the threads into the ground.

please post your questions elsewhere.
