Didn't you ment Wampp for Windows?

What?
- I went to the following address: XAMPP | PortableApps.com - Portable software for USB drives
- Clicked on DOWNLOAD XAMPP LITE button
- Clicked on EXE (Selfextracting ZIP archive)
Many Thanks,

A) Do you need a portable AMP (Apache/MySQL/PHP) stack? If not, don't use it.
B) Have you considered googling for "PHP" to find the homepage for the project?
In fact, before you post here, you should ask yourself, "Can I find this on Google before bothering the nice people at Code Newbie with a possibly inane question?"

Why shouldn't I use a portable Apache/MySQL/PHP (AMP) stack?
Many Thanks,

It's just crazy all those people jumping the PHP bandwagon with xAMPP and then totally forget that A comes before B and actually try to jump to Z directly.
If you have a hard time figuring out include, (multi)array and more basic stuff already, then PDF is way out of your league and you should be thinking about it after a year or two.

All portable applications have a trade-off of functionality. It's nice to be able to just sit down at a computer and have all applications you want on a USB drive, but you do lose some customization and functionality for that convenience. And you're hitting that limitation right now.
Therefore, if you don't have a hard requirement to be portable, don't bother with it.

You're being very rude Salchester. Stop asking questions that, with minimum effort, you can answer yourself. You want us to spoon feed you and no one here is willing to do that.
