Yup, your quite right, i do have experience with c/c++, though that seems like years ago, but can vaguely remember certain aspects of debugging.

Without sounding like I'm trying to get you and other people to do the work, i was always told the following:

....and it's true, I seem to learn more by looking at existing working code, and also trying to work out what is happening, and how the end result is achieved, what ever the end result may be.
