MySQL Diary

Howdy Partners!,

How do I go about creating a mySql Diary, a bit like a book diary, where each page is a different day, and each row is a different time.

Users of the diary can make a booking at the following times:

* 11:00

* 15:00

* 19:00

The following information will need to be collected and display on the diary.

* Name

* Number of People

* Telephone Number

The above information should only be displayed upon entering a username and password, due to security/privacy reasons

A maximum of 6 bookings can only take place at any of the three times.

Many Thanks, much appreciated
P.S I'm Baffled :-)

Dupe.

Isn't this just the PHP Diary Thread, with a new less clear name?

What you describe is a weblog, aka a website journal or diary website. Weblogs have existed since some of the first web pages and web sites in 1992. Now we have software the handles the minutia of tracking and managing weblogs: blogger, wordpress, slashcode, MovableType.

Perhaps you are interesting in a particular view of the weblog, or just creating a specific layout (via custom CSS or a theme package) but a PHP/MySQL/Web-whatever diary is a weblog. If this is the case you should look at W3C's Guide to Cascading Style Sheets.
