shopping carts / account interfaces...
has anyone designed a shopping cart before?

i got the shopping cart down pretty good .. but interfacing with the merchant bank is a little confusing.. i guess i just need more trial and error debugging.

i have done many shopping carts and management console type things... in vb and asp mostly however.

do you find that different merchant banks have different requirements? or is it all pretty much the same?

i built one to echoinc.com 's standards.. and it wasn't that difficult.. but i'm wondering if other banks might be harder to connect to.

i have worked with LinkPoint and CardService.

they are both pretty crappy. they each have there own set of values needed.

i worked w. our XML, Oracle & Java shopping cart on these.
