Using .VBS file to automate things

Hello all,

Tomorrow morning I plan to start looking into automating some new installation actions such as setting regional settings, etc.

Is this the right place to request help?

Also, before I kick everythign off, can anybody suggest any resources / libraries / tutorials for this sort of thing?

For the record, I woudl like to do the following things using my VBS file:

changing network connection names
reset the regional settings/keyboard layouts and define default
Disable system restore in mycomputer>properties
change network connection priorities (wired connection over wireless for eg.)

Not quite what I meant. Maybe I should have been clearer.

OK the guy who creates the ghost images for us to install is in America. We download these ghosts from thier server for our installs here in UK, but they need regionalising and other tweaks AFTER install.

One being setting up a new wifi connection with SSED. (if thats the right letters...)

Ideas?
