Forms and dropdown boxes

I am creating a simple input form database and I have a question about dropdown boxes and their values.

I have done a code before with Visual Basic that has allowed me to select a value from a dropdown box that gives me the option to select another value from another dropbox based off my original selection. This is kind of hard to explain, but basically: I select a value from the 1st dropdown, another dropdown appears with options off the original values.

This is very important and I cannot remember for the life of me what I did, if anyone has an answer for this, please let me know.
