Password Protect ASP Page

I am creating a website. I'd like to create an asp page where the user can type in text and I can then fill the database which is where the site text is coming from.
However obviously I do not want anybody to access the page except individuals who are allowed to change the text. So I'd like to create a password protected page. How can I do this? Can someone please direct me?

The jist of the process is:

Check if they've been authenticated, i.e. have they logged in? You can store that in the Session("HasLoggedIn") object among other places. If they have , otherwise redirect them to the log in page. You can set Session("HasLoggedIn") in after authenticating them in the log in page.
