Checking a flag in Opened ASP.net page Continously !

I have an opened Asp.net page. I have a flag (say an integer variable temp ) in my database. I want to keep checking this flag in my opened Asp.net page if the flag is true then redirect my page to another page. I am getting this flag in my Asp.net page from a stored procedure and i am getting the right value of this. My question is how can i check this value continously in my Opened Asp.net page.

Is this thing possible. If so what should i do to accomplish this task.

This thread might be my last hope.

It sounds like you want to post the page every so often and then you can run your asp.net code to check the db. You can probably do this with the java script setTimeout("function()",X) function. Function() is the function that gets called after the interval elapses and X is the time to wait in millisecs. Just post your page in Function().
