mysql and ASP.Net

I'm trying to write a simple Web Application in C#. To connect to mySQL DB I'm using the opensource driver "MySQLDriverCS" (see Sourceforge.net).
The web server is hosted by a Service Provider so I don't have access to configuration.
I think I did everything right but when I try to access the page I retrieve the following error:


Unable to load DLL (libmySQL.dll).

I tryied to copy the library into my webspace with no good result.

You have to install the MySQLDriverCS setup package on the server. Your program is most likely looking for your DLL in the GAC.

I cannot install it on the server as it's hosted... so what can you advice me to do? how may I connect to mysql db with .net?

If you server supports MySQL and .NET your hosting service should have a component you can use to connect to the MySQL database. I would contact your host and ask them about the component(s) they offer to their subscribers.
