install Mono on Mac OS X

I installed mono on Mac OS X 10.3.4, with the Apache Module (on Apache 1.3.29), and I get the following error message:

Error 503 "Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later."
_
If I start xsp.exe, I get this (on port 8080):
"Server error in '/' application
File '/' not found.
Description: Error processing request.
Error Message: HTTP 404. File '/' not found."
_
Can someone help me ?

have you tried just running a simple console app? maybe that can determine whether or not mono is installed correctly.

then you can proceed to troubleshooting the web application side of thing.

i've only installed mono on debian, so i'm not sure how difficult it is to configure on osx.
