compiling and running on another computer

i have a c# app that i made, and i can not run it on another computer which has .NET 1.1 installed on it. ( xp pro )

i've made a number of programs and i always get the same error on the non-development system.

i've attached a screen shot of the error.

It has been a while, but doesn't a MS program that is outside a development enviroment have to do a basic install and register itself with the computers WinXX registry to be allowed to run?
That may be why it is not initallizing properly.

No you should not have to do any type of install other than coping and pasting the program and any related files.

Mike are you referencing any other file in your program. try checking your reference paths

thanks guy .. the problem was with the computer.

the program ran fine on another xp pro box.
