I liked Be, but as far as I have seen it is as good as gone.

Hm, How about telling why you think Linux is better than any
other OS? I'd like to hear some good and objective arguments.

I like Linux mainly because of the power of the shell. I can do many things that I would be unable to do anywhere else with a few wild cards and pipes. Yes, there is Cygwin for the Win32 but I still prefer the real thing.

I do have to admit tho that nothing beats gaming on Windows. Sure WineX is nice but it's slow and prone to bugs, especially with new games. I always keep a Windows partition around to play games. But actually I like Linux on the desktop for that reason, there are relatively few games so I have to concentrate on my work!

Hmm, I am not sure if that qualifies as a good objective argument or not.
