Which processor you choose is definately a matter of personal opinion. Everyone will tell you something different. I personally like AMD because I refuse to pay for the name 'Intel' and the benchmarks are usually better. Again, personal preference plays a big part. If you want to pay more, buy intel, othewise go with AMD. It is your choice!

Although i must admit Intel is doing a good job with their prices,
Their P4 2.6 is now even equally priced as the XP 2600+.
