new suv .. doh!

i went to go purchase my new hippo today .. i was all setup and approved for 0.0%, .. picked my color / features, sat down, and then they told me the would give me $4,000 for my 2001 ford ranger trade-in.

DOH!

i drove home in my ranger =/ .. anyone wanna buy it?

I love how stupid car salepeople can act. Ok when you are in the building making your deal and you decide to get up and leave they chase you out to your car. They ALWAYS ask if you are going to let a deal go for how ever much money you are haggling over.

I once walk out of a deal over $100. The saleperson was like I don't want to break this deal over $100. I said "so you are going to bring the price down" he said "no, but I think you can afford it". Needless to say I didn't drive away in a new car.
