C++ coding assistance required

Hi,

I am very sorry to be pestering you fine folks, but I'm from a Doom 3 Engine Modification called, The Dark Mod. We're looking for some coding assistance in a couple of areas and hope someone would be willing to donate their time to help.

Mainly, we need help programming our AI. Our Modification is based on the classic gaming series Thief, which is a stealth game and requires some very intelligent AI to pull off what we need to do.

Here is our website (http://www.thedarkmod.com), and here is where we have our development forums: The Dark Mod Forums (http://modetwo.net/darkmod).

We already have a few people working on the AI, but we're still short staffed as there are other areas that require work as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please email me at darkmod_apply@hotmail.com if you would like to help.

Thanks for your time.

Tim

If nobody is interested in working on AI, how about rewriting a 3D preview renderer in a variant of GTK Radiant?

DarkRadiant

You can download our sourcecode and check it out for yourselves. If you have doom 3, you can even test it.

Basically, we want to get our opensource radiant renderer up to the Doom 3 editors preview quality.

Email me at darkmod_apply@hotmail.com if interested.

Thanks.

Hi Horizon,

I believe the regulars here do have a full time job. I think your projects are interesting to many, but finding proficient coders with spare time is hard.

Good luck finding the right people though!

Oh, no worries. All of our current coders have full time jobs, so they do what they can. You have to be a bit of a fanatic about the Thief series of games to want to code all day at work, and then code a few hours in the evening 'for fun'.

Here are some links to our most recent video.

I just viewed the movie and visited the site.
The movie is awesome for those who like the Thief series. Visited the site as well. My compliments on this great project. It looks just great!

Who does the music and the voices?
