has anyone ever coded in small? it's what is used to program plugins for some gamming mods. i've been trying to write my own plugins for half-life. it is a bit like c. i'm wondering if anyone has used this or knows what else it is used for besides progrmming game mod plugins.

there is a new mod called AMX which takes less cpu/memory than other half-life mods/plugins.

a cool thing about making amx plugins, is that once compiled, they will run on windows or a linux server. this makes it simple to test on my win2k box before i slap it on the live server.

for my first plugin, i made a command "amx_awp" that makes everyone drop their current weapon and then everyone gets an awp ( high powered sniper rifle ) which is normally too expensive to buy. i'm still just experimenting/learning this stuff, but it is definately to fun to program something for a game.

now there is of course functions that you could call upon that would give people superior powers to others, but it is still up to the server admin if he wants to use that plugin or not. and no, idon't hack, or manipulate myself .. i don't need too.. especially when playing matt.

I hate CS personally ....rtcw is my game but no one makes mods for that ...

Also when Quake4 Comes out it should be big ..I'm gonna get a team together and do what we can =D

last night i made a plugin that when activated, forces all players to use pistols instead of the big rifles, machine guns, etc.. the admin can turn it on or off with 1 command.
