I've seen Openbox and it seems great. However, my computer is in a state of flux right now, with no working linux on it at this time. I regularly use KDE as a wm.

at my work for school i used fvwm2 and fvwm95 .. and i loved it!
(i used kde for a short while just before i left and i didnt dislike it .. but i still prefered fvwm)

some months ago i installed redhead7 on my pc at work (p233 with 98 mb ram and ****ty videocard), i thought the machine was good enough for it .. but kde was very very very slow (too slow to work with)
now i dont know if that had anything to do with kde or something else .. but i will blame kde until i tested some more wm

are there still new versions and updates for fvwm ?

AFAIK, RedHat won't support fvwm anymore, but the fvwm site seems to be fairly updated. Having fixes/changes last edited Oct. 20. 2002, that seems rather new to me.

Window Maker. I keep coming back to it. Fluxbox is good, too.
