what is a good price for...?

A program that dynamically creates complex database reports?

...in Australian dollars I was thinking round $10 - 20,000 + Free suport for 6 months.

Any of you had much experience with this? the price is considering the cost of hiring someone else to build the system and the offset of not having to manually generate the reports anymore.

Crystal Reports Developer Edition $595.00 US it's stand-alone software, or they make modules you can incorporate into your programs.

we use it, and it's pretty much a standard which a lot of companies use.

you can get the "pro" version which doesn't include developer modules for $100 less.

Just wondering, did you create one?

well ive made something that could be adapted to one, but i decided against it cause i figured it would be too much work and also the company i was thinking of selling too probably wouldn't have bought it anyway cause they needed a programmer not a program.
