Just Saying Hi

Hi all, just posting to say hi. I got the URL from "sde" at the OC PHP meeting last night.

My background is in PHP, ASP.NET (C#), and DBA stuff (Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL).

I'm currently the "Director of Technology" for a small consulting firm called BandCon that resells bandwidth, colocation services, etc. I technically don't direct anyone however

I'll be trolling the forums answering questions and posting some of my own. My areas of expertise are PHP, .NET (C# / ASP.NET), Oracle triggers/stored procedures/configuration, MySQL, Data Modeling.

On the side I'm currently working on some mobile app websites and am looking for a small group of developers to join me.

Neat. I have one question, though. How do you pronounce 'Seyelent' ?

my guess would be: silent .. am eye reyet?

Yeah. It's pronounced Silent, so the whole thing would be silent echo. Kind of an oxymoron type thing.
