How do you stay awake?....

How do you stay awake in the face of unimaginable boredom and / or lack of sleep?
In situations where the only reason to stay awake is to look like you care, (usually NOT school), my stratigies include dissecting speech as closely as possible, babe-watching, playing 80's music in my head, and No-Doz .
Anyone have some paticularlly intellectually stimulating strategy?

In situations where the only reason to stay awake is to look like you care:
V8, Coffie, & Red Bull

in the face of unimaginable boredom and / or lack of sleep:
-program something

-search google for things i wanna know about.

-sketch out the database design of a new concept for an application.

-scan one of the many many programming books i own and never have read through.

-video games.

- pull up codenewbie and press F5 every 5 seconds to see who is on and if there are any new posts.

- Excersize by jogging to the fridge and doing 12oz curls of moosehead ( a sure cure for insomnia )

-cup my hands in front of my face and see if i can smell my breath.

-cut my ankles off and count the rings to verify my age.

- read and reply to "W00t'isms" on codenewbie.com
