How to spend a saturday morning.
By following a course on the English language. It's about time.
This morning I studied two ways of Adjective Clauses: subject and object.
Later I'll repeat these lessons. No need for commas in adj. clauses. That I have learned today .
Catch ya later.

Hm. Both sound better than weeding flower beds, removing the neighborhood kid's toys from of the yard, pruning and cleaning the garage..
Oh, and toasting some FreeBSD 5.4-R CD's for Monday.
Maybe I can get some golf in tomorrow. =)

I spent most of my morning trying to clean out a closet in my guest bedroom. Found a number of things I forgot about, then burned a bunch of old paperwork while sipping on some Captain Morgan and Coke. Now I can't figure out what too me so long nor how many of those beverages I've had. But... I feel good. Aside from that damn buzzing sound.

On the subject of language, Stephen Pinker has two very interesting books. "The Language Instinct" and "Words and Rules" together cover how humans learn language and how languages change over time. It's a very interesting read, especially if you're studying more than one language.

While it wasn't Saturday morning, Friday morning I was wandering around the Metropolitan exhibits on Byzantine and Medieval European art. Then I had a push-cart hotdog. Good stuff (provided you survive the hotdog). Saturday was spent returning from NYC.

Don't know how many folk here do the memorial day thing, but I don't think my neighbors will be eating at my house again.
The meal plan is as follows:
Appetizers:
Korean Kimchi style sprouts
Cajun style sausage links
Pablano Chile halves stuffed with mexican cheese and homemade salsa
Soup:
Bokchoy stew
Main dishes:
Louisiana style cajun Jambalaya with sausage and crab boil seasoned mushrooms
Chuck roast cut to half inch slices, marinated with Worchistire (spelling?), Adobo seasoning, and fresh gound black pepper- topped with green, yellow, red bell pepper, chopped red onion, and fresh garden grown Jalapeno peppers sauteed in rosemary seasoned olive oil with butter, balsamic vinegar, and whorschticher.
Desert:
None. We were supposed to have papaya, but many made a run for the potty and excused themselves from further harm... er... eating.

Hmm, there is a morning on Saturdays? Usually there is just a really long Friday night.

Another saturday. In the morning I bought a ASUS V9999/TD (GeForce 6800 TD) video card.
And now I am going to replace my Club3D GeForce 4800 Ti SE with this new one. Is that fun or is that fun?

Almost bought a x800xtpe for $300 yesturday. Just could push myself to spend that right then. When would I have time to use it anyways? *sigh*
Now I'm off to go 2 hours away to rebuild a RAID array and some other things.
