Merchant Account, Card Processing

Please advise, which of these services are better for a small business (Custom Essay writing service ? http://www.customessay.org) and did anyone use any of them:

http://www.ez-charge.com
http://www.businesamerica1.com
http://www.mercantexpress.com
http://www.elecronictransfer.com
http://www.hiriskmerchantaccounts.net

+ Is there any useful resource specifically dedicated to merchant accounts and card processing services? Thank you in advance for your replies.

where are you located?

http://echoinc.com is pretty good, but that is only for u.s. business i believe.

$20/mo only the months that you use it.

i'd just compare the monthly fee, setup charge, and per item charge.

How do you go about setting up e-commerce sites? I know the web-programming, but I haven't the foggiest on how to do the financial transactions.

it really depends on the merchant bank you choose. once you find a bank who provides you with an online gateway, then you need to get the documentation from them.

usually they have a set of variables you need to send to them securely via HTTP POST, and then they generate something you can parse to get responses.

once you have the documentation, it's a lot more clear.
