why does everyone compare mac to pc when macs are personal computers too?

64 bit for relatively cheap is pretty sexy though .. i never have used a g5 yet, so i have no idea how great or how bad it is yet.

but do you _really_ need all that power? i would prefer to save $3000 and get some new mtn. bike gear or take a nice long snow trip....

btw. did you get season passes?

no season passes, but i am working on getting a free cabin to stay in a couple times each year!

sde I believe gates said who would ever need more than 640k well atleast thats what a friend of mine always quotes. besides 640k is funnier than 2meg

Ok, I try to stay away from Mac FUD, but here is what I think of them.

Good:

A) The new look is cool
B) Really, really slick OS in OS X
C) Makes good hardware
D) iTunes

Bad:

A) Expensive
B) One-click mouse
C) Vertical monopoly
D) One-click mouse (yes, I know you can change it)
E) Overly simplisitc design attitude.
F) Function follows form.
G) Keyboards
H) What's the point of dual G5's when I can get a dual AMD's that run faster for less money?
I) Steve Jobs
J) Lack of the Woz
