Thumbs up Someone worked hard last night...

Good job SDE.

I like the tutorials section much more now. No horizontal scrollbar is needed to view every character. It reads much finer this way.

I have a few suggestions for the tutorials section if I may:

- When entering the tutorial section one sees a listing of supported languages. Above one sees the titles:
"Program Language" "Count" "Last Title".
I feel the cells are too close to eachother (see second idea). I also wonder what the options are for a more clear font for them. I Feel they are too thin. And because the fonts used are the same as the tutorial titles, they get "camouflaged" or "swallowed" by the titles.

- Also look closely at "Count" and "Last Title".
These words are too close to the left border of the cell. As opposed to "Program Language", where it's nicely in the center of it's cell.
The perception of "cells close to eachother" (crowded) is probably created by the "Count" cell. Maybe it should bet a tad wider. And the word "Count" should placed int he center of it's cell, once again.

- URL's
The urls in the tutorials itselves are kinda invisible. I liked the previous implementation where the hyperlinks had a color on them.

Okily dokily, you are dealing with the bigges GFX dork one could imagine, so I appologise if my commnents won't do .

Cya laters readers,
Val

these are all good points .. to be honest, it got late and i needed to stop.

the original plan was to launch everything with the trubech ms font, and i quickly realized that it was definately not the font for this site.

i got the forums changed. ( i left it in certain places like the nav, front page, anda couple others )

aah .. the tutorials section. this has been giving me the biggest concern. i'm definately not satisfied with how it all is working.

i will definately change the font back to arial or verdana for an easier read, but i have a feeling we might be changing the way the tutorials work.

i'd like to make it easy to have images, .zip downloads of source or executables, and also make them multiple pages.

i think this will take hand editing of each one, but that is something i'm willing to do being that we don't get entirely that many tutorial submissions.

thanks a lot for the feedback .. i'll be tweeking things down for a while until things get a little more comfortable.
