why did it get so quiet around here? anyone working on any cool projects lately?

i've been working with c# a lot as you can probably tell by my latests posts.. i like it, but for web development, i'm not quite sold just yet.

haven't gotten too deep yet, so i'll give updates as i study more.

I have no solution to this suddent drop in activity, but I hope it will end soon, it's depressing to keep checking the forum just to see, there are no new posts.

yes, .. i think it's time to promote the site again.

i wanted to wait for the new design, but i had a little set back as i have been developing on vb beta versions that dont' work very well.

i've also been busy with work, but i'm thinking i'll re-color the forums and release the new look on the rest of the site.

then we can promote again and things should be back to normal.

i have a couple of projects in the works.

maybe we should have a forum for getting tips/advise on development stuff from these forums? i would be willing to post a URL or two to that.....

Well aside from looking for a job,

I have been working on getting to know the JDBC API and working with it on W2K w/MSSQL for a project my parents want, and Mac OSX and MySQL for me.:rock:
I have also joined a Mac OSX users group here in Phoenix and am be helping with the next meeting covering X11 on and Unix/Linux ports.

I thought about doing a Tutorial on JDBC for the site if anyone is interested.
Let me know.

Well, I am posting this from the comp lab at Johns Hopkins

I am at John Hopkins for CTY right now. I am doing this for a month thats why I am away. I am also intensly playing tennis, piano and learning C.
