digital cameras part II

Ok, after saline got his Canon G3 I started searching around for the best camera for myself to get, and after saving up a bit over the last few months I got the Canon S45. Pretty nice compact camera, has way more features than I will probably ever use. Here's one of the first shots I took out in the veg garden...

I agree, from what I can tell based on reviews and overall quality, I think the Canon puts out a great line of digital cameras. I replaced an old Olympus 1.3mp and it's a huge difference.

Nice pics, I'm curious how you resize via PHP, I've seen it mentioned but haven't done it yet. A site I'm working on, just happens that this weekend it would have been very handy to be able to dynamically resize JPEG images; out of approx. 50 photos, the majority of them are close in size, but not exact. I want to be able to resize each pic to match them all up, let's say to 300x210 or something similar.

Holy crap! I had no idea PHP had that many image functions. I always felt image manipulation was one of the (few) areas where Perl was always lacking. But PHP doesn't miss a beat.
