To all those using MS Internet Explorer.

I just started using Mozilla (like literally ten minutes ago) and I've got to tell all you people out there using Internet Explorer you've got to try Mozilla. It's a hefty download especially if you don't have cable but I think it's worth it.

It's so easily customizable and feature rich, I configured things perfectly in like two minutes. It's great check it out!

Check out the website
http://www.mozilla.org

Although I was wondering if anyone knew what the deal with Firebird was? Is it a lighter version of the Mozilla browser because I would be interested in that too.

Firedbird is basically the browser componenet from mozilla although the group working on it has put alot of work into it. Pop up blocking is built into it. Its a very nice browser.

ctrl+t opens a new browsing tab inside the same window. So you have multiple browsers open in the same window. It's kinda cool, I'm actually using it right now.

I use Opera. I haven't tried Mozilla yet. Firebird used to be called Phoenix. From what I hear, it's Mozilla browser only.

I downloaded Mozilla. It's cool. I like the ctrl-t. But my Google toolbar doesn't work with it, which might be enough to make me sticlk with IE for now. I use my toolbar constantly.

Mozilla is the only browser I'll use, I've used it for quite awhile now. Some tips:

To change text size on-the-fly: CTRL + / CTRL -

Tools > Cookie Manager is a great way to have complete control over the cookies you allow, and is great for troubleshooting PHP cookies and sessions.

Password Manager will keep your user / password data encrypted and available for the next visit to an authenticated website (just so long as you remember what your password is before you wipe out your Moz install...d'oh!)

You can control popups and browser resizing.

And, yes, tabbed browsing is the only way to live.

With Mozilla you can do a Google search directly from the address bar. It isn't like a full Google bar (no I'm Feeling Lucky button or anything else) but it works. I use it constantly.

---

I also love ctrl+t. With it I almost never need more than one open browser window.

That's right.

The popup filtering in Mozilla is awesome.

I'm not a big fan of Mozilla, mainly because some idiot installed it at my school but never bothered to confiugure it (so no pages would ever load )

At school we're forced to use the monstrosity known as IE, but when I come home I love to kick back and kick some ass using Safari on my mac and Opera on my PC.

I use mozilla 100% of the time, but there are still situations where some websites don't work with it properly and I have to goback to IE
