Why dont you try gettin a job at a Cybercafe. Also there are a lot of up and coming Net providers in Australia.

my trip to au was great .. a whole new world compared to here. definately on the top of my list of places i'd rather be lol
it was pretty difficult to get used to the slang you all use .. but i did learn a lot.
