what to listen to while coding

I already asked everyone what to drink. What do you listen to?

Even my high school teacher condoned (and sometimes even supported) us bringing in cds and headphones. It always seems to help.

We generally concluded that techno was a good choice. Since there's rarely lyrics your brain doesn't get as distracted because its harder to ignore words than notes and sounds. Still I've listened to all kinds of stuff rock, hip hop, techno basically whatever ends up on my hard drive.

Ok, so specifically.

Techno:
Paul Oakenfold
Chemical Brothers
and others

Rock:
Rage Against the Machine
Dropkick Murphies
Molotov ****tails
and others

Hip Hop
fugees
wyclef Jean
O.D.B
and a few others

And occasionally, when I think it will help, classical music is nice. Ok, so what about you people?

lately i tend to have the radio on ...

otherwise i have a cd playing which i know really good ... when there is some new music i tend to stop coding and listen to the music ... when its already known it just brnigs me in the mood .. and makes it easier to ignore any sounds from the environment (playing kids outside, wailing cat inside, wailing gf on the phone, ....

(wen i was younger i never could convince my parents that music really helped me concentrate .. but my grades convinced them enough to let me listen )

it depends on my mood as far as what to listen to.
i'll essentially listen to whatever music i like, which is basically everything with limited country and rarely techno, but i'll listen to trance.

TECHNO all the way baby!

I love trance control, he is awesone. However, when I am not listening to techno, I really enjoy classical music.

Nothing gets me coding like hardcore. Bands like Shockwave, Dodgin' Bullets, Living Sacrifice, and xDisciplex are what I am usually listening to.

Depends on my mood at the time. Lately it has been:
Delerium,
Disturbed
Some of the new Fleetwood Mac
Clapton
