I thought the same thing; although I normally use BASH, ZSH is a nice shell with alot of great features.

I have used bash for years, I used tcsh on OSX for a little while and can't say I liked it much, kept try to use bash commands.

I think that my dislike was mainly due to my inexperience with tcsh tho.

What, i was expecting emacs, some people confuse this for an editor, no wait, its not a shell its an operating system.

Currently, I use bash. I was using csh for a while mainly because I was taught on that shell at a UNIX class I took, but I found out bash made things simpler.

However, I would like to get into the Korn shell a little more once I have some free time.

I grew up on Korn, but Bash is pretty handy, too. If you're careful, you can write a script that will execute in both.
