Let me start out by saying sorry

I really have no idea where the hell I should put this thread! that said, lets begin:

I recently d/l'd vmware 2.x.x and got the trial serial.

I am now having questions about Virtual Machines. Is it possible to specify a partition already made with Linux, say /dev/hda3, to boot up without having to reinstall and do all that crap?

I was wondering because for my web development I need to use Flash and unfortunately that Is only in M$ so I need a way to have Windows and Linux at once.

I was also wondering if I could run X from vmware...not that I need it....Just Wondering.

It's not called a "trial serial" it's a "crack". The terms are VERY different...

I am guessing why the LATEST version is 3.2 and you have an old 2.X version which they dont give trials for anymore... And that fact that you told me you got a crack...
