Alrighty,

You no longer have a web server on that machine.

There is a file I created in ~root/work called "rpm.rm.lst", these were all of the RPM's that had to be removed (in case you need to add them back).

The link that Vlad provided for installing Apache with PHP is the best way to go.

ok . should i compile mysql with apache/php also? i know there's problems if you run rpms of all 3 of those separately, .. but if i just go back later and install mysql, .. will i have problems with apache/php talking to mysql?

You definitely want mysql installed first. The reason for this is that PHP will need it to link the mysql support. There really isn't any reason for Apache to need it unless you use the mysql auth stuff, but I don't think you really care abiout that.

I would go in this order:

- MySQL
- Apache 1.3.27
- PHP 4.2.3 (or 4.3.0 if you are brave)

And on that note, it's 3 AM here and time for some sleep!
