i have installed xchat, ok, everytime i open it, it works for a short time, and then my keyboard stops working. I have to reboot machine in order to get my keyboard working again.. Anyone had this problem... using mandrake 8.2 pp

Try using a CLI client like BitchX I find that they have less problems AND are quicker...

i am using redhat now, it is ok, still buggy though.. xmms doesnt work, but i took care of that by installing freeamp, which by the way puts out a better sound than xmms

I also use BitchX, It is really nice even though it gets a little confusing
