How do I access my Linux dedicated server using SSH?

Should you elect not to use a control panel to manage your dedicated server, you may instead use an SSH command-line interface.

To access your server through SSH, use the IP address(es) for your server and log in with your user name and password:

User ID
This is the User ID you defined when you set up your account.
Password
Use the password you defined when you set up your account.
NOTE: You can find the IP address(es) for your dedicated server in your Dedicated Hosting Manager.

If you do not have an SSH client, you can download the Putty SSH freeware client at: PuTTY: a free telnet/ssh client
