"GRUB " message while booting system

Hi,
I am getting following error when booting system.
DMA Pool Data .....(Some more words)
"GRUB"

After that nothing comes ,nothing works(keyboard).Then I have to shutdown or restart the system by pressing the Power button.

I am having Windows(XP) and Redhat Linux(Advanced Server),
Boot loader' related files are stored on MBR(for both win and linux) while installation of Linux.

Kindly help.
What could be done?(BIOS Update or what).

Did you move/replace/add harddrive's?
Did you modify your BIOS?
Did repair/change/upgrade Windows XP?

these are just some steps that cause GRUB not finding the linux boot section anymore.
Due to the fact that /boot/ is used by grub to load the boot configuration.
